Ghetsis straddles the thing and pins its head down, preventing it from opening its mouth to bite in retaliation. After about a minute of squirming, Deino eventually calms down, conceding defeat. Only then does Ghetsis pull its ball from his belt and recall it, falling to the ground on his butt in the process.]

[ ... Someone needs to steal that ball from you and throw it off the island edge, and then hope there aren't any Deinos around. 8|a

Chloe finally catches her breath and, standing up hesitantly, walks over to you. Your murderbeast won't suddenly get out of its ball, right? Right? ]

That wasn't something, that was dangerous! What were you thinking, deciding to train a Pokemon this violent?! You couldn't find anything that is MORE likely to eat you during training or what? I was worried sick when I saw you just... feeding your arms to it!

Deino was my starter, and I'm training him because he's strong. [Those gashes? A pretty common occurrence, judging by his lack of a reaction.]

And now that the adrenaline is wearing off, he swoons, feeling rather woozy.]

[ Yeah no man, she's only got her Purrloin. Those aren't very helpful when you have to carry people around. Had it been a few levels higher, though...

She'll probably have to make do with just herself. ]

Despite his protests, Ghetsis does as instructed, leaning heavily against her as he begins to giggle deliriously.]

[ Both your teams suck Pokeballs. One of you needs to get a Pokemon that can actually be, you know, helpful.

Sigh. She'll have to put her arm around your waist - let's just hope you haven't got any injuries there - and start walking, supporting you as much as she can. Good thing the town's close.

[Be careful he doesn't fall for you, Chloe. You really don't need a yandere stalker. He's already been displaying hints of the crazy that'll eventually consume him, but for now, he's mostly harmless.

He's trying to walk, really, but his legs are pretty weak from the blood loss, and he's this close to passing out on the spot.]

Well, getting the floor dirty with blood and possibly dirt is kind of a very impolite thing to do, but you've done well to last this long. Get some rest, Ghetsis - when you wake up, you'll probably find yourself in a clean, white room of the hospital, with your wounds treated and bandaged, and Chloe not being around. What do now?

What do? Well, first he's going to cover his eyes with his pillow because he feels like he has a horrible hangover. Second, he's going to notice that there is an IV in his arm. What the crap happened?

[ A pretty nice one, actually - getting hurt for ridiculous reasons and because of not being careful enough is kind of a manly thing to do. Or well, men's thing to do, anyway.

And after a ten minutes or so, there'll be a familiar ginger-haired head poking through the door: Chloe was told you've woken up, so why not go see how you are doing? You must've been unconscious for a pretty long time, though, because she apparently has had enough time to have her own hand bandaged and go change into something not stained with blood. The uniform's probably gone for good, though, but it's not that much of a loss.

Anyway, she steps into the room, but still stays close to the door, unsure if it's okay to go talk to you - it might be bad to bother someone who's been injured and just woke up. Awkward silence? ]

[Damn right, it's not much of a loss.]

...What? [He raises an eyebrow at her, resisting the urge to throw a pillow at her just to be a brat.]

Ghetsis runs a hand through his hair as he stands, partly to steady his balance, and partly to look macho.]

[ She's looking obviously pissed off there... But calms down in a couple of seconds and unclenches her fists. Still going to eye you with a mix of disapproval, anger and worry, though. ]

No, Deino needs some time in isolation to cool off, but I still have the rest of my team. [And then he locates his missing articles of clothing in a nearby chair, all soaked in peroxide and bleached to get the blood out.]

Tynamo and Typole. [Those two are pretty chill, no need to worry about them. Ghetsis pulls his shirt on over the bandages and buttons it up, wincing ever so slightly as it brushes over a few tender areas.]

I've had some experience with changing bandages and treating injuries. I can take it from here.
