[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

It might be kind of strange to wind up in some new region like this without warning (or at least, that's how Shauntal's Chandelure--and arguably other more normal people--was behaving), but for her, this was valuable material! She could use this at some point, perhaps.

But that weird deja vu aside, getting more material for later use is probably more important!]

You're not native to this Drifting Land, are you? What were your feelings upon first arriving here?

Why do you want to know, anyway?

[Unova is good, Unova means she can create new details that fit with the story and still have the details be accurate, since she's naturally most familiar with that region.]

I'm a novelist, actually. As it seems it might be difficult to obtain inspiration from my usual sources here, I thought asking around would achieve the same results as battling challengers. Do you happen to be a Trainer, as well?

As much as anyone else is, ha. I'm from Nuvema Town, south of Accumula and pretty far away from any of the big cities. I'm guessing you're not either?

Ah, so you're from the Unova region as well, then! [that would be a 'no, I am not from here, either.']

If you're from Nuvema Town, this sort of village should be rather familiar, shouldn't it? Would you mind describing how you felt upon arriving here?

Let's see... I guess it feels kind of like home, except not really? I've met one of my best friends I grew up with here, but we've still got no idea what we could be floating on top of. Our best guess is Unova itself, since this place has a shrine dedicated to Landorus and all. Stouts here doesn't like this place too much though, but he's never been comfortable with new places or meeting new people.

As for the actual landing... I can't really remember it. I was heading down to the Relic Castle in that desert off of Nimbasa City, but I kind of appeared here instead. The locals are really nice though, they even put up a sign for us!

[Trainers talk too much, Stoutland thinks. Shut up Hilbert.]

I figure there might be a ton of strong trainers to battle and make friends with, so this'll be my training place so I can beat N and his friends.

I'm from Orre. I felt annoyed. [He still kind of does, but eh.]

[It's a candleghost, and it is staring at you, just as interested. It just doesn't show, since it's hard to express emotions as a candleghost.]

Annoyed is likely also another common reaction. I can certainly see where you're coming from. I'm afraid I've never heard of Orre before, however. Could you describe what it's like?

[What an angry child. But that's another reasonable reaction, too. So you know, taking notes on that, as well.]

Anger, yes. Likely one of the more common responses, but oddly enough, many of the others here have been more surprised than anything, based on their responses.

Except you probably wouldn't react all too well to a Plasma grunt, but who knows? ]

[No, Plasma Grunts aren't too high on her list of things she likes, but in a place like this, declaring enemies right out might not be the best of ideas. Especially when if it's just a singular grunt, chances are it's not as bad, right? Not to mention there was no evidence of her having actually done anything yet. Shauntal ponders over thoughts such as those briefly before responding to the Grunt.]

If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to hear your thoughts and feelings as you first arrived here! You aren't from this town, are you? [well, that's the sort of answer Shauntal's reached for now. Not that she won't try to keep watch for other Plasmas and Plasma activity in the future, but that's hardly the point. Chandelure, on the other hand, is far more wary of the Grunt than her Trainer seems to be.]

Oh, indeed I'm not from here. You're the same, right? In fact, when I arrived here, my first thought was "not again!" For you see, I have experienced something like this before. I was waiting for my teammates in the Pinwheel Forest, when I suddenly realized I wasn't even in a forest anymore! I was on an island now, as people explained it to me. And from that island, I seem to have gotten here! Thankfully, this time there were... a couple of people I have met before, so I don't feel as lost. In fact, I think this is an excellent opportunity! To start a new life in a place you've never been to before, meet new people from other regions, make new friends and rivals!! Isn't this just exciting?
