[Ethan turns away, relaxing slightly when Gold says "No," and peeks around the corner to check for his pokemon.]

Kris too? That's weird, Kris usually keeps Lyra out of trouble. I like them.

[Ethan tilts his head. Don't you know this already?] Sometimes legendary pokemon pick someone out as their special person. Someone they pay a lot of attention to? I mean, that's what my grandparents used to say, anyway. I've never met a real chosen before.


...Kris is always the responsible one! She's super smart and she's probably going to be a pokemon professor one day. She doesn't come around much because she's so busy studying, but she really likes Lyra. They're girlfriends, I think. [Ethan scratches his head.] I don't know, I've walked in on them a few times, but they're not really lovey-dovey, or anything.

Well, they weren't super close at first or anything, but Kris and Lyra definitely like each other where I'm from. [Muttering to himself.] Unless it's hatesex? ...Nah.
