Give A Little
[She's been here for months and has pretty much given up on anybody else from back home showing up.
Leaf's picked out an empty cottage a few miles away from the town. She much prefers to be away from crowds. But since she did end up miles away from most civilization, she's free to have her slightly ridiculous array of pokemon out.
One of which is a very loud Braviary, who's CAW CAWing about how awesome he is. And a Blastoise who is... napping, and somehow ignoring all the cawing.]
Calm down, it's only us out here. We've already heard how great you are. [Nope, still cawing about how awesome he is. Because everybody needs to hear it!]

[Blastoise will stare down at all of them. There are precious few things she cares about. And her trainer is one of those precious things.]

But do you even have those? Most humans I come across are peasants and they have nothing to offer.
[Tepig lowers his head, hiding behind his hooves.] H-Hey, it's Red who's a bother, not us you see.
[The speed of Spoink's bounces increase. He avoids eye contact with Blastoise, turning to the Trainer.] He calls every human that. It's nothing personal.

[Blatoise doesn't speak, doesn't move, just stares down at the group]

[And Red takes a couple steps closer towards Blastoise.]

What are you doing? [Her eyes narrow]

[He's sticking his nose in what is left of Blastoise's personal space.]

One of those things is getting up close and personal with a war pokemon, because that's interpreted as a threat. If not to themselves, than to their trainer. Either way, the approacher will get knocked back.
Blastoise is no differen't. She raises a hand to smack Red away.]

Get over yourself. I've had worse than that.

He deserved that.
