[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

[ Kyaa! A Sharpedo and it's so cute she has to pet it. ]

Aw, aren't you a cute Sharpedo~ [ You seem like a Sharpo, can she call you that? She's totally gonna call you that. Cuts and scrapes, pshaw, no biggie. Having healing abilities solve that problem.

Sorry Archie, you totally being ignored by this odd girl in favorite of your Sharpedo. ]

[He's the cutest Sharpedo ever, Rosetta! The Sharpedo very happily rubs against Rosetta, shrieking happily in recognition. It's been quite awhile since he's seen her, right? It feels like it's been awhile anyway, despite the fact that his trainer was dead for the majority of that time.]

[But eh, details.]

[Archie stares at the pink-haired girl for a moment, trying to figure out if that really is Rosetta, and if so, what she's doing here. Probably the same thing he is - she probably just appeared here. He finally speaks.]

Rosetta...? That you?

Eh? [ Upon hearing her name, Rosetta looks up at Archie in confusion. After all, it's not everyday a stranger knows your name.

Although, there's definitely something familiar about him...but she can't quite place a finger on it. Maybe when she was visiting another region?

...Nah, her memories are probably just messing with her as always. It would be hard to forget someone has huge as this guy. ]

Yeah, that's my name. How'd ya know?

[torrential]

[That catches him off-guard. She doesn't remember him? How is that possible? Or maybe... she's not the same Rosetta? It's another girl who just happens to look like her and has the same name...? But what are the odds of that?]

We met on Awesome Island. You don't remember me?

[The Sharpedo ignores his trainer's confusion, continuing to rub on Rosetta affectionately.]

Never heard of an Awesome Island... I should put on my list of places to visit. [ Rosetta smiles and nods her head. Awesome Island sounds like a great place to take a vacation. ]

And I can't say I know ya, I would defini—[ She stops mid-sentence, then flinches and holds her head like she's in pain. After a moment, she continues as if nothing happened. ] —tely remember someone like you.

[torrential]

Whoa, hey, are you alright?

[Archie's well-acquainted with memory loss. A lot of the events on Awesome Island are very blurry and he can't quite remember them. He's pretty sure that was a memory resurfacing and then maybe being repressed...?]

An' you're sure? You don't remember anythin' about the island? Do you remember Sharpo?

[He nods at the Sharpedo, who screeches happily.]

Hm... [ She pauses for a moment to reflect, absentmindedly petting Sharpo. ] ...I'm fine. Nothing's wrong. Really. [ Rosetta forces a small reassuring smile, after all, she shouldn't make a stranger she just met worry.]

I don't know any Awesome Island, or have any memories of it either. [ She looks down and tugs one of her pigtails. ]

[Archie frowns; there's more to this than she's telling. He could just leave it alone - and maybe he would have if he didn't know her so well. But the fact is that he does know her very well. He finally kneels to her height.]

Hey, you can trust me, Rosetta. Look, you might not remember me now, but I'm sure you will soon. We were pretty good friends on Awesome Island. You can trust me, I promise.

[healpulse]

[ She's a little surprised when Archie kneels to her level, and stares at him briefly before shifting her gaze back down, as if not wanting to see the look on his face. ]

Well, a couple months ago, I woke up in the middle of nowhere, with basically no memories—just a few personal detail, like my name. A lot of things have happened since then... but I still haven't gotten back my memories. That's it really, nothing more, nothing less.
