[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

I only have two fire stones and three thunder stones. I'm sure amidst over 400 pokemon I can find two fire types and three electric types!

As much as possible! The project will probably be handed off to another trainer.

Ker-toss! Cynthia pays extremely close attention to the Pokédex, pressing several buttons to make sure the transfer goes through.

It's not recording anything besides height and weight. It was supposed to be able to recognize typing!

That sounds like a technological problem rather than anything you're doing.

Really, that must be at least ten years behind modern technology standards.

Yes... it's a definite prototype. I'm helping work out exactly what the tech problems are.

Well, that's a major problem right there. You won't get far without that kink worked out.

[She'll look for a good spot to sit down and open the case, looking at the wiring and surprisingly large and clunky computer chip.]

The professor expects you to know how to fix his creation?

I'm a field tester! I tinker and try to fix in the field.

It recognizes just fine, but he can't travel too far from his lab, so once he caught everything he needed an aide.

I was chosen because I can at least do very basic tuning.

... Looks like you're talented in many things.

I'm alright at a good range of things. I'm only really good at pokemon training.
