The Grand Opening

[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

[Alder was defeated; N had Reshiram, the legendary dragon, and now the only person who could stop him was carrying six Pokémon and one Dark Stone.]

[He was about to enter N's Castle when he found himself here. Needless to say, Black isn't amused.]

What--!?

[He turns, expecting the Champion to still be standing behind him with Cheren - but neither of them are there. Black narrows his eyes, resting his hand on the Pokéball at his belt.]

Where am I?

[He manages to gather some information from the locals, but what he discovers isn't putting his mind at ease any. How did he end up here? He's supposed to be stopping N from separating people and Pokémon. He can't do that if he's here.]

[It doesn't take long for Black to calm down though, and you'll probably find him sitting a few feet away from the landing strip, staring up at the sky. He seems removed from the world at large, probably daydreaming. Care to bother him?]

[This child doesn't mind bothering him. You remind him very much of Sigal and Touya and Emil, whom you look like, and kind of act like the first with your day-dreamy attitude. But Sigal was more asocial than that.

Anyway, point is he's had some good times with people like you! Not that Zorua likes it. None of them. In fact, the fox is taking it upon himself as N's mini-protector to check Black out first by sniffing him and whatnot.]

I think that's a little rude, Zozo. The others were friendly. [One of them had a Scolipede, the worst thing created! For Pokémon and humans alike! How's that friendly!?]

[Black notices the Zorua and smiles briefly, perfectly content with allowing the Pokemon to examine him.]

No, it's fine. I don't mind. I take it he's yours?

[You do look familiar... but Black dismisses the idea quickly. There's no way you're related to N.]

[See? Fine. This kid's a lot smarter than those other ones. Knows not to mess with a Zorua's delicate sensibilities, uh huh. N frowns a little at the Pokémon, and nods hesitantly.]

My friend, yes. He's just really excited to be someplace new. [He is too, but still! He can at least control it. Kind of. Wide-eye glances around the area give away N's excitement.]

Oh, yeah? Well, I guess that's a good way of looking at it. Did you two come from Unova?

[Obviously they're not from around here, and Unova would be the logical place to start...]

Uh huh. [Not that he could tell him where, but... Yes, they are. He's probably from it too, like the others, so don't be stupid and ask.]

I know that! [jfc zozo] Um, what do you think of this place so far? I assume you haven't been here long, so...

['sup, other freaked out guy? Grimsley's gotten to that a bit less freaked out stage by now, but is still wandering with his Hydreigon.]

[Black studies the Hydreigon for a moment before returning his attention to the trainer.]

You didn't expect to find yourself here either, did you?

[He shook his head.]
Of course not. How to you prepare for a kidnapping?

A kidnapping?

[Black's eyes narrow. Really? Is that what you think it is?]

I doubt it's a kidnapping. How could they take so many of us without someone noticing anything? How did we get here? It would have taken awhile to bring us all here by Flying.

All you're going to be staring at is blue, man.

[Leaf says that while she's walking up. Being removed from what looks to be a new place for most of the people here is only a state of denial to Leaf, and she just can't get why he's just standing there. New place to explore...!

Still, she stops a little bit away, casually standing with a bit of a grin; someone looked a little too serious.]

Not exactly. I'm not sure where to start.

[Black nods a little in greeting.]

I need to get home as soon as possible, but I'm not sure how to do that. Archeops can't use Fly to return me to Unova.

[He's tried that several different times, from several different locations here.]

[Leaf listens to most of what he says, but she's quick to stop him after mentioning Archeops flying him back to Unova.]

Woah, hold up--an Archeops? What the heck's that? [That also brings Leaf back into the conversation with something else that she seems confused about.]

You just got here, and you want to go back to where-ever this Unova place is? The locals themselves said it'll send us back when it's ready. You can't even take any time to enjoy the place? [...Wait.]

--Don't tell me your one of those workaholic types already! [All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy is what Leaf is convinced--or at least what she gets from the 'wanting to get home as soon as possible' message Black had said.]
