[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

[There are a couple of things he doesn't expect when he walks out a pokecenter to train his pokemon at night.

One of those things is being stuck on a random floating region he's never heard of. He'll look generally annoyed as the people explain The Drifting Land to him.

After he gets an explanation he'll go wandering off. Just cause he's up here doesn't mean he can't train.]

[Pikachu catches up with them and helps put back the apples. Ash blinks, raises his hands to sign something--and then realizes the other him probably couldn't understand anyway so he shakes his head frantically and using his fingers, mimes himself chasing after something else]

[He looks very confused for a few moments before you start miming things.

Alright, that he understands. And the fact you can't speak. He can deal with this. Easy.]

He pulls out his pokedex and flips to an entry on Oshawott, pointing to it.

Have you seen his pokemon?]

No, sorry. I haven't seen an Oshawott lately.

[slumping over with a sigh.
