The Grand Opening

[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

[ Now excuse him, he needs to think a little - it finally hit him how weird this whole situation is. Ho-Oh is born as a human, but from an egg, there was another Ho-Oh before him (who is apparently also rather grumpy. How does this work, legendaries are supposed to be the good guys?), and now he's sitting in said Ho-Oh's room about to drink tea with him. Uh. ]

[starting a fire, boiling water, letting that go while he fetches leaves from a cabinet...]

[ ... Sighing and rubbing his forehead. All of this still doesn't make much sense, even if he tries to remember everything Gold told him about parallel universes and different worlds and all that. But he's bound to get more used to this and find out more if he sticks around (of course, if he's allowed to stick around) and asks more questions (and if he's allowed to ask them, too).

So, having somewhat dealt with all that new information, he's going to look the room over once again. Mostly because standing up and starting to walk around would be impolite (and kind of awkward), and just keeping to sit in his chair doing nothing is also awkward and oh my god what does he do now. ]

Not really touching anything yet, though, just taking a look at everything for now. He secretly can't wait until he can get to the scrolls, but just rushing to them and READING EVERYTHING would be kinda rude yeaaaah let's go look at those plants instead ]

[PLANTS. there is...something like a bonsai but bigger, about three feet tall, in a wide planter furthest into the room. There are also a row of planters by the window from which vines sprout, wind around some supports and posts in the wall, then creep out the window and up the tower's back wall. The flowers are orange to bronzey red and oddly shimmery.

Tools sit nearby - clippers, a watering plot, some finer implements for pruning and tending the bonsai.]

[ ... That's a lot of plants. And those flowers are kinda really pretty and very... Ho-Oh? ]

... Do you like gardening?

Huh? Oh, yeah, it's something I do - there's more outside, even. I was thinking of going out and kind of exploring the area to see if there's anything new and interesting I could try growing...
