The Grand Opening

[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

[Yeah yeah, new strange place, that's amazing.

Or it might be, anyway, when Silver is actually awake. As it stands, all anyone gets is the rather peculiar sight of a redhead that may or may not be familiar unceremoniously sleeping on the roof of a building along with his Sneasel.]

Creeping up, with a feather in hand. Tickle tickle tickle]

[Sneasel stop that that's his nose come on move over no seriously it isn't-

He abruptly tries to clap his hands over the feather as he starts to wake up. You know, kind of like a kid trying to catch a bug. Grace at its finest.]

[jerking the feather back with a bubbly laugh]

Time to wake up, Silver~

[Okay okay awake he's awa- Huh?]

Blue? [Why is Blue- ...Wait, where...]

[she beams down on him]

Sleep well?

[powertrades]

...Yeah. [...Blue can speak Silverese. He shouldn't have to say much. Where... Are they?]

[littlestfae]

Levanta Town is the loveliest little place, don't you think? Come now, there's no time to sleep when there's exploring [information gathering] to do.

[powertrades]

...Where? [But he was just in Ecruteak and- alright, alright, he's getting up. Let's go information gathering, then...]

[littlestfae]

The drifting land of course. Come on!

[and she's just going to sweet talk some guy into giving her some info]

[Silver's a little too old to tag along while Blue sweet talks people, so he maintains an adequate amount of distance from her and explores while Blue does her thing. Not close enough to seem like he's with her, but not so far away that he can't for the most part listen in or drop everything and go help if he needs to.]

[and after a few minutes, she slides off, a bag of fruit in her arms (people were so easy in here)]

Did you hear everything?

[ohcrumbs]

[Cynthia, flying on the back of a Staraptor, spots Silver and has her bird land.]

...A sneasel! I haven't seen one yet...

[So she says in a somewhat hushed tone, but she's just so excited to see one!!!]

[powertrades]

[Sneasel's ears twitch, and he looks in Cynthia's direction. Who's this chick? He not so subtly nudges Silver a little before giving her his attention.]

[ohcrumbs]

Ah, nice to meet you.

[She bows politely!]

[Huh good morning wh-

...Things he does not expect to see when he wakes up: some girl bowing at his Sneasel.

Sneasel gives his nodding smiling waving equivalent of nice to meet you too, at least.]

Ah, hello! I hope I didn't disturb you. I just haven't run into a sneasel before, I just had to come get a look...

...It's fine. [She seems harmless enough.] You've really never seen a Sneasel before?

[ohcrumbs]

Not yet! I had only just gotten to the Sinnoh region, after all.

I need to start filling up the Pokédex some more, though. I've been slacking!

[powertrades]

[Oh. Okay, that makes-]

Ah, you've heard of it already?

I've been entrusted by Professor Rowan to work cataloging the data of the Sinnoh region Pokémon. It's a bit glitchy, but it's going to be really incredible once it's done!

I know it's definitely going to help Professor Oak's end of the work if I can get it done in time. He's the one who came up with the idea.

[...Yep, he's just staring at you like you grew a second head, Cynthia.]

...What's wrong?

...It's nothing. [She sounds like she's talking about it... From the past...?]

...Do you think we could do a really quick trade? Just so I get the data?

[She pulls out her Pokédex and - what the fuck that thing is a brick.]
