[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

[She had been about to say something when Grimsley turned up. But words escaped her for a moment. She studied the boy. How curious. Her pen scratched down a few more notes before she spoke.]

It seems you did make him worry. [And then turning to Grimsley:] So, you are this Spiritomb's trainer?

[Grimsley pouted.] He's mine. But he's always running like this. [Because he wants to play!] Just my luck...

How long have you both been together? [She walks over to where Spiritomb is and reaches out a hand to run her fingers over the "body" should it be allowed.]

Hmmm, and when was that exactly? A year? Months?

[Shauntal tilts her head a little, remembering how many people she had seen with the same face walking around. Then it was possible she had a double here too.]

It was about 10 months ago. [ssh his birthday is sometime in may because of silly conversations.]

And, yes. She mentioned she was a novelist. [However, he doesn't believe in doubles yet. Because he hasn't really seen any, you know?] Is she related to you?

[it's cool it's cool. he'll get a nod of understanding.] Perhaps a little more time together will help you understand each other. Understanding between Pokemon and their trainers comes at different paces. Some click in less than a day, while others require years.

[she thinks about it, wondering how best to word what's on her mind.] Unless I have a sister or a cousin that I was never informed of who writes, I don't believe she is. [she pauses] Unless the most peculiar and impossible things are possible here. I have seen many a face mirrored here, as if twins were as easy to find as a Patrat. But it may be possible that I have a double. Someone who is me, but isn't. Does that make sense?
