The Grand Opening

[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

That does seem like a good relationship. [He concluded.] But why not train him? It'd make him stronger.

Well, I kind have been... But not against other Pokémon. I don't want him to get hurt.

[Which, the Zorua's talking to that overgrown lizard now, is totally stupid. I'm strong enough to beat anyone! He doesn't gotta worry about anythin' while I'm still hoppin' 'round.]

[Really? I've only lost a few times. Hydreigon stated, looking between Grimsley and the other kid. Why don't we have a fight?]

Yes, I am. I've been around Pokémon as long as I can remember, so I've come to hear their voices where others cannot.

[You'll be the one hurtin'! But I'll go easy on ya since y'don't know who you're dealin' with~]

[He's unsure - but that could be handy, in the right hands. Like his. Okay, kid, you're sort-of cool. If you're not lying.

And suddenly, Hydreigon has flew up high, ready to fight! And Grimsley is just staring.]

[Like Pokémon, N never lies! The kid shares the other's stare, before it clicks about what the two Dark-types were talking before and he picks up the Zorua before he can get away.]

No, Zozo! I said no fighting! [You are seriously no fun! Go away, kid, you're gonna get in the way! Struggle as he might, Zozo can't escape the kid's clutches. You'll get hurt and I'll feel bad 'cause of your stupidity!]

[Grimsley shrugged a little.] Hydreigon - this guy's a wimp. We'll find someone better to fight.
[But Hydreigon, though Docile-natured, is still a Hydreigon. And she's diving to strike!]

[What oh no not on Zozo's watch. While N's momentarily scared stiff of the giant dragon rushing at them, the Zorua squirms away and knocks the child away. Course, he gets hit straight on in the process and is knocked out.

There are no words for how shocked and in despair N is.]
