The Grand Opening

[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

[Abububu, you're definitely Bianca.] You sure? I wouldn't forget my own name, and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't either. Cheren might, but that's because he's kind of a jerk, but he'd just be playing.

[Alright, that makes her giggle.] He's a bit grumpy, isn't him? But of course I wouldn't forget our names, we're best friends after all!

Then you'd know my name was Hilda, not White. [--Wait.] Not that I'm doubting our friendship, Bianca! I know you're an amazing friend - you have been ever since we first met - but... [Her name isn't White.]

[Froooown.] What you're talking about? I never heard that name before! You're White, one my best friends that grew up with me in Nuvema Town! [Give her a minute while she opens her Xtransiver and shows Hilda her list of numbers. They have a little picture next to them.]

[That was definitely Hilbert. And that was definitely her. But... but!]

Well, I've never heard White before. [She rubs the back of her neck, thinking.] What Pokémon did you pick to start out with?

This is so weird... [A sigh.] My starter? Oshawott of course!

[heroineoftruth]

[Oshawott? No way.]

Not Snivy?

[Shakes her head.] ...so you got Tepig?

[heroineoftruth]

[She nods.] Yeah. Cheren got Oshawott and said he'd wanted the little guy in the first place anyway... Hilbert-- uh, Black had an Oshawott too.

[futureprofessor]

Ah... [This is so weird. She got used to Cheren having a big pig with muscles that screamed STRENGTH all over.] I wonder how much stuff have changed... I mean, you're totally like, the friend I remember!

[heroineoftruth]

You too. This place is just weird. [Best not to think to hard on it. Bianca's just the same, minus the change in starters.] Well, it doesn't matter. You're still my best friend, and nothing'll change that.

[futureprofessor]

That's true! [Links her arm with Hilda's.] And I can get used to a new name as long as I have you and the guys with me!

[Tugging Bianca ever closer.] We should explore a little then! I wonder if they have clothing shops and stuff here? That'd be fun.

[futureprofessor]

[Yay, friendly cuddling is a go.] Oooooh, yes! Do you think they'll have strange clothes here? Like, different culture and all! And some nicely decorated Pokéballs too!

That'd be cool. I wonder if they have different types of Pokéballs, too? Or new species of Pokémon...

Waaah, I'd love to see some new species! Or maybe actually meet some of the ones from other regions! I remember seeing this cute thing called a Shinx in tv once, it was soooo cute!

I've seen a lot of other trainers here, so maybe we'll get to see a Shinx or two. [Gosh, you're so enthusiastic and cute.] We should get everyone else and have an exploring party sometime.

[futureprofessor]

That'd be perfect! Starting this new adventure the four together too! [More enthusiasm! There's cuteness for everybody!] A pity we missed the first step together in the place... we need something else! Like, a first catch! Or a battle!

First catch sounds good! [Especially since her and Hilbert already had a, uh, first battle.] We should all head out to the meadows outside of town and see if there's any Pokémon around. That seems like a pretty ideal place, right?

[Gosh, no crisis will stop you two from battling.]

Yes, it sounds like a plan! ...we also need to find a Pokécenter. I don't want my team to get seriously hurt!

[The only crisis would be if they didn't battle.]

There's one not too far from here. They've got some good sandwiches, too. [Mmmm delicious lunch date.]

[...no comments. But hey who said lunch date?!]

Ooooh! We could that! A good lunch before going out to explore, and we can also try something new! Let's go!

[Grabs Hilda's hand and drags her off DO SOMETHING cometomygame BECAUSE I DON'T THINK SHE KNOWS WHERE SHE'S GOING.]

Eeep! [The sudden pull sends her directly against Hilda, ouch.] Waah, sorry, sorry, I'm totally lost!
