[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

[She'll nudge her bug forward, just a bit, encouragingly. Galvantula makes no haste shuffling closer to Grimsley and his big dark dragon. Ain't no thang but a Pidove wang.]

[Grimsley then reached a hand out, nervously - biting his lip a little. And then he touched it.

It wasn't attacking. Hah. Of course it wouldn't. Shaking his head a little...]
It seems strong.

He is, relatively speaking. Nothing compared to Emboar or Stoutland, but he's pretty up there.

[Galvantula nuzzles the bitty's hand, just like he did his trainer's. Good.]

Your Hydreigon seems pretty strong too. Did you train it yourself?

[Yes. This is fine. It's much better then what it could be doing.]

I haven't gone on a journey yet. You have? [That would explain having an Emboar, after all.]

I just got finished with one. [It was harrddd.] You learn a lot about yourself on it. Actually, I'm kind of itching for another. I guess this place is better than any to start, right?

[Don't mind if she starts shuffling in place a little. Hilda's never been good at staying still, and restlessness is in her nature.]

It's not so bad. Reminds me a little of Nuvema, if better stocked. [--Oh! But!] Can you tell me anything about this place? I'm afraid Galvantula's unnerved most of the villagers just by being around, so I'm hesitant to try asking them about it.

...It does have that Nuvema atmosphere. [Which Grimsley dislikes. Black City all the way, man.
He then shrugged.] I only arrived recently. But this place is a huge floating island. With no escape, of course.
[...And then he decides to introduce himself.]
My name's Grimsley.

[A huge floating island? Like, in the sky? Cool.

-- Wait, Grimsley? Like, as in, Grimsley of the Elite Four? The guy she took out no sweat with her Galvantula and Emboar?

But he was just a kid! Maybe it was just a coincidence. Yeah, probably that. Grimsley's not a common name, but hey. Who says two people can't have it.]

[If he wasn't so young, she'd challenge him to Pokémon battle, as is her custom with meeting new trainers.]

Even though your... Galvantula seems strong, I bet my Pokemon are stronger.

[She quirks an eyebrow. That a challenge? Man, she can't step away if he's the one offering.]

The other four [despite the six balls - five full, plus Galvantula's empty one - on her belt] are just as powerful, if not more so.

[Grimsley then said. Because three of his are babies. That's what he's assuming is the case for you, too.]

I'd say I need less than that, but I'm not going to underestimate you based on size.

[She's got a feeling she won't win, but that's all right. Not all battles are meant to be won - just battled. Strategy'll earn her some time, though.]

Good. [He's feeling lucky.]
Hydreigon. You'll go first. [The dragon nods, before letting out a dark hiss, hovering forward.]

Galvantula, you're up.

[The spider shuffles back a bit at the dark hiss, poised and ready for battle.]

Youngest goes first, right?

[Grimsley took a few steps back, before looking to Hydreigon, a bit of a smirk on his lips.]
Fire Blast! Now!
[And the dragon roared it out.]

Galvantula, dodge and use Signal Beam!

[The best thing about being an electric spider is the speed it gives. It isn't easy to dodge a huge Fire blast, and admittedly Galvantula barely scrapes by, but he's shooting his attack just as soon as he's out of the fire's way.]

[Hydreigon was struck - but then shook it off! 252 in all stats, man. Without waiting for a command, however, it roared out another attack - a Focus Blast!!
Grimsley turned to his Pokemon, though.]
Not that move, idiot!

[Hot shit, bro. Hilda's amazed - but not for long.]

Keep dodging, Galvantula! Electroweb!

[To hopefully slow down that monster some. They're really lucky Focus Blast's easy to dodge.]

[It strikes, catching the dragon, and catching her wings - but then it unleases another Fire Blast, while trying to free herself, while she falls. Note how Grimsley's trying to step back and NOT GET STRUCK BY THE OUT OF CONTROL POKEMON.
