[A large WELCOME sign is hanging from the buildings when you walk into Levanta Town, but that seems to be the only sign that today is any different than any other day. The villagers are simply going about their daily business. However, if they are approached they are more than happy to explain the region as well as they can to any new arrivals.

There's a lot more to the world than just the city your gym's in.

T-that's unfair! After all, how'd you collect the eight badges if one of the gym leaders if off doing who knows what?

We always come back. It's not like we leave forever.

You can always collect the other badges while we're away.

But if you have a list, that's a lot of trainers waiting. I'm sure whatever Elite Four there is in Kanto wants to fight them, too.

It's not like you have to get the Earth Badge. There's more than just eight gyms in Kanto. You only need eight to enter the League.
